April 08 "After a not very representative intro The Italian metal-core brigade Arcadia (living in Los Angeles), directly from the first track "She's Got a Knife" shows how a band like this should move. If on one hand they're direct in your teeth, on the other they're full of intricate melodies. HEAVY-METAL.DE

February 08 Okay,Okay, here we have an Italian band which was formed in the United States. And from there with their "Italian Bastard Core" they want to conquer the world. Even if I have to say their music is kinda difficult I have to admit one thing: it's fucking bastard! And this being bastard includes good ideas, good melodies and a good voice (or screaming, as you want) and other shit. Back to the band, these 4 Italians who in '98 recorded their first demo "Trust" with which they were already creating a personal sound. The response of the scene was very good and this brought them to sign for the label NoBrain, and one year later they released their debut album "Synth" and toured here and there in their country. After "Trip to the Sun", a first American tour followed, as a new album followed too: " Fracture Concrete". After the tour the band decided to settle in Los Angeles and after some years of hard work, here is the last album, "Cold Cold Bodies". Briefly, it's a very interesting album with very good metalcore songs like "She's got a Knife" (ehi what a punch!), "Kissing Cyanide", "Coagulated and Almost Forgotten", "Ravens and Doves" (the video of the song is included in the cd) and "Oxygen and a Very Good Pill". Those were just some example from an album which convinced me. |
